The Sultry Sexiness of the “Wild West”

A trip to Kauai and a visit to an art gallery, Aloha Images gave me the aloha spirit to create my memories of my favorite island.

Inspired by the Beach Boys songs, that I loved throughout my life as a California surfer girl myself.

My love of water and oceans has always made me look at myself as a real Mermaid, who paints her underwater world of adventure.

All of the beautiful beaches I’ve been to, that set the mood for the inspiration of each unique woman.

Love these fun paintings of different girls on vacation in a leisure atmosphere, in a natural state.

I tried to capture the casual and relaxed woman in an oversized shirt, that makes one’s life so comfortable and at ease.

I love textures and using fabrics, rhinestones, paper mâché, shells, feathers and beads in some of my pieces.  Multimedia creates a 3-D effect.  I used fabrics to drape off the edge of the canvases.

My love as a dancer myself and appreciation of Spanish and Latin cultural dances, gave me the inspiration to paint these spicy women.

These women are so stunning! They all are created with a model’s beauty captured in their individual photoshoots.

Who doesn’t dream of traveling all over the world? Women’s beauty and unique looks of other countries have always Interested me.

My love for fashion and costuming gave me the inspiration for these paintings.
